Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1790 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience required. RNs must be able to read telemetry strips.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Each employment history entry must include all of the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. No previous employment is allowed at this facility.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and CKD. RNs titrate heparin only. Patients may require CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. Charting transitions from Paragon to Epic on Oct 30th 2026.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36hrs/wk or 36/48 hrs/bi wkly. Every other weekend is required. Holidays are required. No call. Scheduling is determined by the manager based on facility needs.

Floating Requirements: First to float: float to all Med/Surg units; possibly float to PCU to care for Tele holds until transferred.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
