Full job description
Locum CRNA needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Winchester, KY. KY license preferred.
Shift Details: 4x10/weekly. Providers must be able to work every week. Schedule: Full-Time; 7a-5:30p (1/2-hour lunch) ; MUST be available 4 weeks/month. Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1. CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching. Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 x 10/week, 6 months. Patients per day: Depends, 1-9/daily. Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal). Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart) EMR: EPIC preferred. All providers will be required to work NORA. Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB. Practice Setting: Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center). Board Certification: NBCRNA. Level 1 Trauma Experience Required. State license required: Yes, State of KY - open to licensing. Minimum experience required: 1 yr experience (NO NEW GRAD). Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days. $1000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
