Hematology - Oncology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8 Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00
This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekends, no call.
Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology.
Types of Cases: General Clinic Oncology and Hematology Patients -

Bone Marrow Biopsy preferred but not required. Outpatient only, no inpatient care of acute leukemia patients is expected. Care of chronic leukemia patients (Chronic myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia) is included. 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology. Adult Patients Only.
Credentialing Timeframe: 12 weeks.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC).
Certifications Required: Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
Licensure Required: Active California license.
