Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.29 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals as directed by site procedures, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
