MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.


Transportation Supervisor – Adult Day Health

Bilingualism in Spanish / English Required for this role

As the Transportation Supervisor, you’ll ensure safe, reliable transportation for our participants — and help keep our operations running smoothly every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department.
  • Manage the department budget, including fuel tracking and vendor coordination for maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT requirements, including licensing, registrations, and inspections.
  • Maintain the van fleet in safe, clean, and efficient working order.
  • Supervise and train a team of drivers to provide excellent service and safety.
  • Develop and manage employee schedules and client pick-up/drop-off routes.
  • Coordinate special outings, medical appointments, and field trips.
  • Step in to transport participants when needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.


What You’ll Need

  • Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of driving experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with the elderly or disabled population preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish required for this role.
