Machine Operators (ISO Press Technicians)

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring full-time ISO Press Technicians to work at our Carbide facility. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment where contributions matter, growth is supported, and success is shared.

What You'll Do:

As an ISO Press Technician, you will prepare and operate the ISO Press machine to compress powdered carbide used for carbide components. Essential responsibilities include:

• Prioritize, plan and prepare work
• Sort jobs by due dates and complexity of tasks
• Pull designated carbide powders
• Fill press bags
• Load and unload press
• Separate powder and billets by grade
• Prepare, maintain and operate ISO Press machine, operate crane
• Perform general clean-up of work area

What We're Looking For:

Knowledge and Skills

• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong math and mechanical abilities
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and follow directions
• Able to work independently and cooperatively with teams
• High degree of accuracy and commitment to quality
• Experience with blueprint reading a plus
• Familiarity with carbide manufacturing and processes a plus
• Must be able to work rotating daylight and midnight shifts
• Able to lift 65+ lbs.
