Mostly weekend coverage -- 7 am shift starts
5 - 10 patients per shift; 1 - 3 admissions per call period
Inpatient hospital setting
Laparoscopic surgery required -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
Head/neck, breast, and liver surgery experience required
GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
Adult and pediatric general surgery experience required
Chest wall/pleural procedures experience required
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
