Location: Maywood, IL
Schedule: Flexible Schedule

M-Th; (9:30AM-6:00PM) and Friday (8:00AM-4:30PM OR

M-Th; (11:00AM -7:30PM) and (9:00AM - 5:30PM)
Rotation: No Call

About the Job

In this role, the Nuclear Med Technologist is responsible for coordinating, directing, and implementing of the patient care delivery of Nuclear Medicine procedures. Works in conjunction with the Director of Medical Imaging services and Senior Nuclear Medicine Tech.  Performs technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis.

Required:

  • Associates Degree

  • Less than one year of previous job-related experience

  • Specific Degree(s): Accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology

Licensure/Certifications:

Required:

  • Basic Life Support (CPR) from American Heart Association

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)

  • Other:  Registered by NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)

  • Licensed by IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Division of Nuclear Safety

Pay Range: $37.00 - 57.00 per hour 

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
