A community teaching hospital in Moultrie, Georgia is hiring a Radiologist for a hybrid role that combines on-site and remote work. The schedule is 14 guaranteed shifts per month, split between on-site days at the hospital and remote days from a home workstation the hospital provides. The role includes diagnostic reads, interventional procedures, and teaching medical students and residents.

Schedule

Full-time, 14 guaranteed shifts per month: 7 shifts on-site and 7 shifts remote, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. Evening and weekend shifts are available for extra pay.

Compensation

$500,000 to $600,000 base salary, with an annual cost-of-living increase, plus a production bonus under a straight RVU model.

What You'll Do

You will read 80 to 120 diagnostic studies per shift, averaging about 1,200 RVUs per month, across CT (128-slice), 3T MRI, ultrasound, vascular studies, nuclear medicine, PET, and mammography. Remote shifts are read from a home workstation that the hospital provides.

On on-site days, you will perform interventional procedures, including angiography, image-guided biopsies, drainages, and tumor ablation. You will also teach medical students and residents. The hospital's Medical Education Center, with its simulation labs and conference center, supports teaching and continuing education.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion, or upcoming completion, of an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Radiology (or AOBR), with certification required within five years of hire if board eligible
• Active Georgia medical license, or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Current DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges, including for image-guided procedures
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in interventional radiology, body imaging, or neuroradiology
• Experience with tumor ablation and angiography
• MQSA qualification to interpret mammography
• Nuclear medicine and PET reading experience
• Experience reading remotely or in a teleradiology setting
• Interest in teaching medical students and residents
