Special Ed. Teacher

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Surprise, Arizona. Earn up to $53/hr plus bonus, with weekly direct deposit and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers to support student development.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all students.

• Assess student performance and adjust instructional methods accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Special Education or equivalent.

• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification (ADE).

• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• CPR and First Aid certifications from an accredited agency.

• Valid NCI Training Certificate.

• Valid Food Handlers Card.

• 1 year of relevant experience in a special education environment.

• Valid driver's license and social security card.

• Negative Mantoux TB skin test within 12 months or provider statement.

• Two letters of recommendation.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Early Childhood Special Education Certification.

• Strong communication skills, patience, and ability to work with diverse student needs.
