Full job description

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Department of Urology is recruiting a full-time Urologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join our team serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. Seeking a recruit who will provide the medical and surgical expertise gained from their fellowship. The candidate should also be able to provide general urology services.

Job duties:

  • Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction

  • Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse

  • Urodynamics

  • Management of pelvic disorders as appropriate to the fellowship trained candidate

  • General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope

  • Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS

  • Vaginal surgical procedures as per training

  • Involvement with Urology residency

  • Academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, if desired

Job Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

  • Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure

  • DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privilege
