Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Chief Aviation Inspector to join our team in Van Nuys, CA. This is a full-time position, and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday. The operational needs of the organization may necessitate working after hours, weekends or holidays.


Chief Aviation Inspector Compensation:

  • Base salary in the $125,000.00-$140,000.00 range
  • Relocation assistance

Chief Aviation Inspector Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in helicopter maintenance experience
  • Current FAA issued Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) required
  • Formal training on Sikorskys76, Airbus AS350 or Leonardo AW109 is a plus
  • Prior experience working for an FAA Part 145 Rotorcraft Repair Station
  • Advanced comprehension of FAR’s specifically 14 CFR Part 145.221
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and manage priorities
