A bit about us:

We are a well-established, 13-person public accounting firm located in Vancouver, Washington, specializing in tax planning and compliance for individuals, families, real estate investors, and closely held businesses. Our philosophy is centered on building long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees. Rather than focusing on high-volume transactional work, we take a consultative approach that allows our team to become trusted advisors.

Our clients value accessibility, proactive planning, and personalized service, and we intentionally maintain a client roster that aligns with those values. If a client relationship isn't the right fit, we're comfortable parting ways in order to preserve the culture we've built.

We're currently hiring due to the retirement of a long-tenured team member. This creates a unique opportunity for someone to step into an established book of business with existing client relationships already in place.

Why join us?

Step into an Established Client Base

Inherit approximately 150 individual tax clients with an organized transition plan.
Spend your time advising clients rather than building a book from scratch.

Relationship-Focused Accounting

Work directly with clients and become their trusted advisor.
Opportunity to perform tax planning, projections, and IRS resolution work—not just tax preparation.

Career Growth

Shape your own career path.
Opportunity to expand into more complex tax engagements over time, including entities and higher-net-worth planning.
Continuing education and professional credentials are fully supported.

Work-Life Balance

Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office.
Flexible scheduling outside of tax season.
Busy season averages approximately 40-45 hours per week.
Leadership actively discourages unnecessary weekend work.

Performance-Based Compensation

Competitive base salary ($80,000-$100,000 DOE)
Revenue-sharing bonus program that rewards growth and productivity.

Outstanding Benefits

50% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums (employee coverage)
3% SIMPLE IRA match
Approximately 25 days of combined PTO, holidays, and sick time
Continuing education and licensing reimbursement

Collaborative Culture

Small team where everyone's voice matters.
Leadership values autonomy and trusts employees to manage their work.
Team retreats and employee appreciation events throughout the year.
A culture built around respect, flexibility, and genuine relationships.
