The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services, with indirect accountability to the House Supervisor. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care throughout the perioperative process, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients across all age groups, from neonates to older adults.

Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams.
Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.
Promote efficient patient flow, unit organization, and continuity of care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, professional, and hospital standards.
Participate in quality improvement, staff meetings, and continuing education.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to team members.
Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Current and valid state RN License.
Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
