Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2440 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months is required.

Unit Details: - Patient populations include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, psychiatric, and telemetry patients. - Telemetry ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/Surg ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend rotation. - Every other holiday rotation is required. - Overtime may be available. - The traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation but may be placed on call occasionally during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float to units within scope at the West Burlington Campus and may float to the Fort Madison or Henry County campuses. - Floating may include any non-critical-care inpatient units, including Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. - If the traveler has critical-care experience, they may be floated to the CCU or ICU.
