Full job description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a premier federal law enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking dedicated Customs and Border Protection Officers in the Security & Law Enforcement department. In this role, you will enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; screen people and cargo; prevent terrorism; and facilitate lawful trade and travel. You will conduct inspections, gather and analyze information, and respond to security threats while working closely with partner agencies. CBP promotes integrity, vigilance, service, collaboration, and continuous professional development. Career paths include Border Patrol, Field Operations, and Air & Marine Operations, with new agents eligible for up to $60,000 in bonus incentives.
