Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2240 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: - 6N: Must have 2 years of experience in CCU or high-end stepdown unit. - RNs must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry strips. - Titration experience is not required. - Vent experience is not required.

Required Credentials: - EKG interpretation class required.

Special Requests: - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: - Common diagnoses/types of patients include cardiac, CHF, CP, pneumonia, respiratory conditions, and sepsis. - RNs titrate drips. Common drips include Cardizem, amio, and dobutamine (non-titrating), and heparin (titrating). - 6N has vents; RT is expected to maintain them. - Telemetry equipment includes GE telepacks; 6N has bedside-mounted monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: - Shift times: 645-1915 or 1845-0715. - Every other weekend. - Modified self-scheduling will be granted depending on unit staffing needs. - Candidates must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. - Holiday requirements: 1 major, 1 minor. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - All Tele nurses other than 6N nurses will float to Med-Surg or Rehab. 6N nurses will only float to ICU/CCU. Travelers are first to float.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
