As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Site Location: Reno, NV
• Set schedule: Various Full-Time & Part-Time Shifts Available for Day, Swing, and Grave. (Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You provide critical access control and order in the lobby area by checking identification of employees, vendors, customers, and other visitors. Plus, keeping area clear of foot traffic and prevention of other hazards in the area.
• You may be asked to escort VIPs and other guests as needed.
• You will use CCTV and other electronics to accomplish your mission.
• You will be expected to patrol by foot on a regular basis to check on all entrances, exits, and emergency areas.

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• You are authorized to work in the US.
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand.
• You have a valid PILB in hand.
• You have or can obtain CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification within 7 days of an offer.
• You have exceptional skills in computers, laptops, CCTV, radio communications, and other electronic tools.
• You are able to perform the necessary tasks of conducting foot patrols on a regular basis that cover the whole property.
• You have superior people skills.
• You have at least 1 year of Security experience in a controlled access environment.
• You have strong work ethic!
