Position Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of duties on and off the bottling line in the bottling department.
Prepares and inspects filled whiskey bottles for packing and shipping.
Operates all equipment on the bottling lines and fills in for other operators as needed.
Performs specific special online processes such as hand application of tags, corks, strip stamps, and shrink bands as well as cartooning.
Performs off-line work, which includes but is not limited to hand wrapping, hand packing, inspection, and cleaning.
Reworks non-conforming product.
Completes training to back up to any assigned bottling position such as inspector, depal, decaser, labeler, strip stamp operator, and others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Able to learn to perform all of the functions above.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn to operate computerized equipment.
  • Willing to train and upgrade skills as necessary.
  • Able to read, write and perform basic math functions so as to complete necessary reports; understand; specifications, instructions, and other related documentation; and calculate quantities.
  • Must have good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity in order to manipulate cartons, bottles, stickers, labels and other production supplies.
  • Able to concentrate and pay attention to details for long periods of time in a distracting environment.
  • Able to frequently lift, move and carry cases of product and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Candidates must be willing to learn and capable of conforming to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual.
