Job Title: Physician - Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Compensation
Salary Range: $410,000 per year

Location: Queens, NY - Onsite

Position Summary

As an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN), you will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services within a community-based hospital serving the diverse populations of Queens and Nassau County. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care, surgical procedures, and labor and delivery services. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide culturally responsive, patient-centered care while helping improve health outcomes in an underserved community.

Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

  • Shift details: Full-Time; includes call responsibilities as required
  • Hours per week: 40+
  • Contract length (if applicable): Direct Hire

Key Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including preventive services, prenatal care, and routine examinations
  • Perform a full scope of gynecologic surgical procedures utilizing minimally invasive and open surgical techniques
  • Manage labor and delivery patients and participate in on-call coverage as required
  • Collaborate with midwives, nurses, subspecialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record

  • Required: MD or DO from an accredited institution

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required:
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Active New York State Medical License or eligibility for licensure
  • Additional certifications (if applicable): N/A

Skills:

  • Strong clinical expertise in outpatient OB/GYN care, labor and delivery, and operative gynecology
  • Experience performing minimally invasive and open gynecologic surgical procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing culturally responsive, community-based care to diverse populations
