24-hour shifts -- 24/7 in-house coverage required
Census can exceed 30 patients per day
Hospital setting -- acute care surgery and trauma
Handles ED consults, urgent OR demands, and all trauma calls
ATLS certification required
Laparoscopic, chest, breast, OB/GYN, and liver surgery preferred
Vacancy coverage while recruiting for permanent provider
Option to obtain permanent position
