Full job description
Transparency Program: Work side-by-side with experienced technicians in a live shop environment at Chesapeake and get a true feel for the job. Paid interviews. Complete paid 4-hour sessions to see if you truly like it, no commitment required.
Starting Pay: $25-$55/hr
More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.
Shift: 3pm-1am M-F. $2 shift differential. Day shift Saturdays as needed. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
$1 for State Inspectors License

Responsibilities:
-Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
-Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
-Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
-Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
