About the Role:

The Clinical Pharmacist - PRN in Oncology at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland works at the center of interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff within the in-patient hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, perform medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system
  • Provide clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions
  • Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
  • Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required
  • experience in Oncology pharmacy preferred
