Director of Nursing (DON) - Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center

Location: Miami, FL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure quality patient care

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and mentoring

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous quality assessment

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting as a Director of Nursing

  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
