Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate.

Unit Details: Uses Rovers for medication scanning and Alaris pumps. Post Surgical Care Unit caring for pre- and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients after PACU recovery. Nurse-to-patient ratios: day/pm 1:4 or 5; nights 1:5-7. Fast-paced post-surgical unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day; average length of stay 2 – 3 days except joints.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night variable shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Every other weekend and holiday. No on-call requirements. Orientation week may not include full scheduled hours; holiday week hours may vary when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: Floats to all inpatient units.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
