Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add a Medical Director to the team in our Moline, IL market! This role requires rehab experience!

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to IRF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Responsible for full medical management and primary care
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Administrative duties
- Active and unrestricted Illinois license
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Active DEA license
- Minimum 1 year of rehab experience required
- Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
- Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute care experience
- Inpatient hospitalist
- Geriatric Medicine
- 1099 independent contractor
- Monday-Friday, no weekends
- Part-time opportunities available

- We cover tail end of malpractice

- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
- Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
