A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud Data Security Consultant Position type: Fulltime Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid) Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Cloud Data Security Consultant to perform a comprehensive data security architecture assessment for a GCP-based ecosystem supporting conversational AI, telephony, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise backend integrations. Key Responsibilities<ul><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Assess end-to-end architecture from a data security, privacy, and compliance perspective.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Review data flows across GCP services, conversational AI platforms, telephony systems, API gateways, databases, cloud storage, and on-premises applications.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">PII and customer data protection<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Authentication, authorization, and IAM<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Encryption at rest and in transit<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Secrets and key management<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Logging, monitoring, and auditability<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Data retention, deletion, and cross-boundary data movement<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Review security architecture for Shared VPCs, network segmentation, interconnects, service accounts, and cloud IAM.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Implement and assess security controls, including Sentinel policies, encryption standards, and database activity monitoring.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Conduct threat modeling and assess AI-specific security risks, such as prompt leakage, model input/output security, and knowledge store access controls.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Deliver detailed findings with risk ratings, security gaps, and remediation recommendations.</ul>Hands-on expertise with:<ul><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">GCP IAM, VPC/Shared VPC, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Firestore/Datastore, Cloud KMS and Secret Manager<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Experience securing PII, PCI, or regulated customer data environments.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Strong understanding of API security (OAuth, mTLS, token management, service-to-service authentication).<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Knowledge of network security, hybrid cloud connectivity, segmentation, and firewall controls.<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Experience with security monitoring, SIEM integrations, audit logging, and architecture risk assessments.</ul> Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
