Description:
Earn $28.60 - $33.66 per hour plus excellent benefits as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician with Weyerhaeuser in Elkin, NC! Benefits include paid vacation, a 401K plan, life insurance options as well as medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Weyerhaeuser is seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
Key Functions:
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, welding and other related maintenance skills.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues throughout facility.
- Minimize downtime through completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Work with engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, simple and complex sketches, other related documents and verbal instructions needed to perform assigned duties.
- Perform work tasks from SAP generated work descriptions and orders.
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the maintenance department as assigned.
- Often work must be conducted from heights or within confined spaces.

If you don't have prior maintenance experience, we'll invest in your development through a structured apprenticeship program during your first four years in the position.
