Facility in Lewisburg, PA seeking Anesthesiology locums coverage Rates: $400/hr Opportunity Highlights
  • Start Date: May 10, 2026.
  • Contract Length: Ongoing (13-week initial blocks).
  • Schedule: Five 10-hour shifts per week (07 00).
  • Call Requirements: Must be able to take 16-hour night call (3:00 PM 7:00 AM) during the week as needed.
  • Care Model: Anesthesiologists supervise a 1:3 CRNA-to-room ratio.
  • EMR: EPIC.
Clinical Scope & Skills The facility handles a broad mix of cases within its 135-bed acute care setting. A heavy emphasis is placed on orthopedic surgery and regional blocks.
  • Case Mix: Orthopedics (High Volume), Robotics, Vascular, OB/GYN, General Surgery, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Urology.
  • Required Techniques: MAC, Spinal anesthesia, and Ultrasound-guided techniques.
  • Critical Skill: Must be proficient in Regional/Nerve Blocks to support the high volume of orthopedic patients.
Provider Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology.
  • Experience: 2 years of post-residency experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand (Required). No "willing to license" candidates due to the 90-day credentialing window.
  • Certifications: Active ACLS and PALS (Required).
  • Documentation: NPDB self-query dated within 6 months.
    • Full disclosure of all malpractice history.
    • 7 years of work history or list of last 10 assignments.
Credentialing Information
  • Standard Timeframe: 90 days.
  • Temporary Privileges: Available for "true urgent needs" and clean, non-complex files only; must be approved at the start of the process.
  • Deadline: Providers must be fully cleared 2 business days prior to the May 10th start date.
