About the Position

We are currently seeking a skilled CDL A Flatbed Driver for local delivery routes in Alpharetta, GA. This position involves hauling steel coils and requires experience with flatbed, chaining, binding, and tarping. The driver will operate manual transmission trucks and must adhere to safety requirements.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29.00 per hour, overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time 4 AM, no holidays
• Hours per week: 40+

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport steel coils to designated locations
• Utilize chaining, binding, and tarping techniques
• Local delivery routes in GA, SC, TN, AL, & NC
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Must have chain/binding/tarping experience
• No automatic restriction
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Steel toe shoes required when reporting to assignment
