Production Technician I
Location: Vacaville, CA
Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Technician I to join our manufacturing team in Vacaville, CA. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, performing quality checks, documenting manufacturing processes, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. New hires will train on 1st shift for approximately one month before transitioning to 3rd shift.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to accurately complete production documentation.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery to manufacture advanced composite materials.
- Set up, run, monitor, and perform changeover operations on production equipment.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Accurately complete production and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Identify equipment or product issues and communicate concerns to maintain quality standards.
Schedule
Training Schedule (First Month):
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Position will transition to 3rd shift following training.
Compensation
- 1st Shift: $23.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $24.15/hour
- 3rd Shift: $25.30/hour
