Manpower is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our Automotive Client in Sterling Heights. The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC equipment safely and efficiently while producing quality parts that meet customer specifications. This position requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: $18.34
Shift: 1st & 2nd
What’s the Job?
- Operate CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision.
- Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor tool life and machine performance throughout production runs.
- Conduct quality inspections using gauges and measuring instruments.
- Complete production reports, quality documentation, and shop floor paperwork.
What’s Needed?
- 2-3 years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and machining fundamentals.
- Ability to make offsets, perform tool changes, and support program changeovers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
