We are actively seeking a Scientist III to join our bioanalytical LC-MS team in Whitesboro, New York (NY). The Scientist III is responsible for performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses to support complex clinical research studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory data, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations and methodologies.
What You Will Do:
- Design, conduct, and document protein analysis using LC/MS/MS.
- Conduct advanced laboratory assays and analysis including PK/PD data analysis activities.
- Interpret complex test results for clinical research projects, and provide accurate, complete, compliant reports following GLP or GCP regulations.
- Ensure timely communication with cross-functional departments and clients to maintain optimal service and on-time deliverables.
- Partner with the Project Manager to prepare timelines and completion dates for procedures, tasks, and goals.
- Prepare scientific publications to support endeavors in new science, and attend seminars and workshops to expand professional capabilities.
- Interact with clients to transmit study status and results.
- Assist in the definition and optimization of work processes.
Your Profile
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of working experience in the biomarker space
- Experience with bioanalytical testing and bioanalysis of LC/MS/MS
- Working experience with method development, method validation, and method transfer
- Biologics/Large molecule experience
