Local Truck Driver Job Details

• Home daily with no overnight routes
• Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
• Automatic transmission trucks
• Warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
• Make 3-5 stops per day
• Load and unload using lift gate, pallet jack, and forklift
• Consistent routes and predictable scheduling
• Stable, long-term local truck driving assignment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local truck driving routes
• Deliver and transport freight between warehouse locations
• Load and unload freight using provided equipment
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain all required DOT documentation
• Ensure freight is secured and delivered safely
• Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams

CDL Class A Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current Medical Card
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
• Acceptable MVR and accident history
• Strong and consistent work history
• Commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to load and unload freight as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift gates
• Previous warehouse distribution or local truck driving experience
• Strong attention to safety, customer service, and professionalism
