Location: Pineville, LA
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible Shifts, Including Mornings, Days, Evenings, and Weekends
Weekend Requirement: Required as Scheduled

Job Description

Remedy Staffing is currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer focused Restaurant Cashier for a busy local restaurant. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing customer orders and payments, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately take customer orders
• Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance receipts at the end of each shift.
• Assist with food packaging and order preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of cashier stations, dining areas, and service counters.
• Restock supplies, condiments, and beverage stations as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
