Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager


A growing, well-established insurance brokerage in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a large, diverse commercial book of business. This is a client service and account management role focused on renewals, account execution, producer support, and team leadership. No production is required.


The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial P&C professional who can independently manage complex accounts across a variety of industries, lead renewals, work closely with producers, and provide guidance to developing service team members.


What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients
  • Manage day-to-day servicing, client requests, billing issues, claims coordination, and service calendar obligations
  • Lead pre-renewal and renewal strategy discussions
  • Review coverage needs and prepare proposals, stewardship reports, and renewal presentations
  • Negotiate coverage, terms, conditions, and premiums with carriers and brokers
  • Manage a diverse book of commercial accounts across multiple industries and coverage types
  • Work closely with producers to develop renewal strategy and ensure strong account execution
  • Provide guidance and delegation support to Client Service Associates
  • Help maintain structure, urgency, and quality across a fast-paced book of business

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Strong renewal and commercial P&C account management experience
  • Experience managing both Property and Casualty coverage
  • Generalist experience across a variety of commercial industries preferred
  • Ability to independently manage a complex book of business
  • Strong client service, organization, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Applied Epic experience preferred

  • $110,000 - $120,000 base salary
