Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Reading basic telemetry strips. Some experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients. No titratable drips; Diltiazem at a set rate. Telemetry is monitored remotely; monitor techs read and post strips. RNs are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift. Charge nurse and house supervisor support; charge does not take a patient assignment. Nurse aides available at 1:10-15. Uses Bipap, Cpap, high flow, and some breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: 30 min unpaid lunch. Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self-scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances. Every other weekend. For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, work 2 day shifts and 1 evening shift or 2 evening shifts and 1 day shift (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day). No call.

Floating Requirements: First to float. May float to East Campus, and possibly PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
