Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you’ll perform and oversee complex exams, optimize imaging protocols, and ensure accurate, timely studies that support patient-centered care. You will lead and mentor sonography staff, manage daily workflow and scheduling, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and providers. The Lead Sonographer also supports equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
