Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources Operations, the HR Administrator serves as a key resource for employees and managers by supporting payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employee record management. This role is responsible for processing employee status changes in ADP Workforce Now, maintaining benefit vendor relationships, coordinating leave administration, and responding to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, leaves of absence, and HR policies. The HR Administrator supports the organization's mission and values while ensuring accurate and timely HR operations.
Essential Functions
- Process employee lifecycle transactions in ADP Workforce Now, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team member questions regarding payroll, benefits, leave programs, HR policies, and employment-related matters.
- Administer and coordinate leave programs, including FMLA, NJFLA, disability, workers' compensation, and other protected leaves.
- Manage relationships with benefit vendors and insurance carriers; assist with enrollments, eligibility, billing reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Support benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
- Maintain accurate team member records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and HR compliance activities.
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits vendors, managers, and employees to resolve issues and ensure a positive employee experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in benefits, payroll, leave administration, or HR operations.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Working knowledge of employee benefits, payroll practices, FMLA, NJFLA, ADA, and other applicable employment laws.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of FellowshipLIFE.
