Floater Machine Operator

Our client, an industry leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a Floater to join their team. As a Floater, you will be part of the industrial department supporting production and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Floater

Location: Chambersburg, PA

Pay Range: $20.25

Shift: 11pm - 7am

What's the Job?

• Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring proper weight, seasoning, and sealing of products
• Prepare machines for production start-up and make adjustments to meet quality standards
• Change film rolls, formers, and adjust machine settings as needed
• Monitor and control seasoning levels and ensure HACCP compliance
• Inspect finished products, pack bags, assemble boxes, and verify package quality

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in machine operation or food handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Understanding of food safety standards and GMP practices
