Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Trauma, orthopedic, and med-surg patient population. Uses IV pumps, wound vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo pumps, chest tubes, telemetry, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, and epidurals. Typical procedures include wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and insertion of indwelling Foley catheters.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. On-call when census is low.

Floating Requirements: Floats to 6A, 3A, 3South, and 4South.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
