As an Automation & Quality Technician, you'll support CNC machines and automated production cells while helping ensure that every part meets our quality requirements.
You'll assist with equipment operation, material handling, dimensional inspection, production documentation, and routine machine support. You'll gain exposure to multiple areas of advanced manufacturing while learning from experienced production and quality professionals.
Candidates with different levels of relevant experience may be considered. Internal level placement and responsibilities will be based on demonstrated skills, experience, technical knowledge, and ability to work independently.

Pay Range: $24 - $35 per hour

What the Job Looks Like
- You load and unload materials from CNC machines and automated production cells.
- You inspect completed parts using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
- You compare inspection results against drawings, setup sheets, and quality requirements.
- You monitor equipment and report production, quality, or safety concerns.
- You support routine machine cleaning, chip removal, and coolant maintenance.
- You record inspection results and production information accurately.
What You'll Do Here
- Support CNC machines and automated production operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from machines and automation cells.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components.
- Use calipers, gauges, and other basic inspection tools to verify that parts meet requirements.
- Follow setup sheets, work instructions, quality standards, and verbal direction.
- Record inspection results, production data, and other required information.
- Monitor production and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards.
- Support routine cleaning of machines and work areas, including chip and coolant maintenance.
- Move finished products between production stations, Quality Control, and shipping areas.
- Safely handle and transport materials throughout the manufacturing process.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas.
- Follow all established safety procedures and manufacturing practices.
What You'll Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing technology.
- The ability to follow written instructions, setup sheets, and verbal direction.
- The ability to use-or learn to use-basic inspection tools such as calipers and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- The ability to accurately record inspection and production information.
- Dependability, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work effectively with production, quality, and technical team members.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, CNC operations, automation, or quality inspection is preferred but not required.
- Technical training or coursework in machining, manufacturing, automation, robotics, or quality inspection is a plus.
