Here at the Elliot our CT team utilizes Siemen’s scanners. These scanners are known for ease of use and speed. We incorporate auto 3D software into our protocols to be as efficient as possible. Our work core is large, comfortable, and modern. Our Radiologist are reading 24/7. We also have a brand-new Emergency room, and It's ready to serve our community! About the Job:
A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for the interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner and assists with interventional procedures. The CT Technologist performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission, Philosophy and Code of Conduct of Elliot Health System.
What You’ll Do:
- Practices within the scope of practice of the computed tomography technologist as outlined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT)
- Performs venipuncture
- Prepares and positions patient for CT procedures according to the CT procedure manual.
- Provides radiation protection to patient, staff, and self-according to prescribed safety standards
- Records patient history, unusual conditions/limitations, and other information such as; exam time, room number, and technique
Who You Are:
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology, Required
- Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification Required
- ARRT (CT) certification, Required
- ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment

Work Shift:
