As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Compliance in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Professional at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while responding to security-related concerns in an agile and innovative manner.

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
