About the Clinicians Workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients (ages 18 and older) at a correctional facility in New Mexico, working 24 hours per week on a schedule of preferably three 8-hour shifts, with two 12-hour shifts also considered. The expected caseload is approximately 10 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary and chronic care conditions within a medium-security correctional environment. Required credentials include an active New Mexico license, DEA registration, and BLS certification; board certification is negotiable, and prescriptive authority is required. Proficient typing skills are required, and prior correctional experience, as well as at least 5 years of experience as a clinician, are considered advantageous for this role.
