Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1590 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Non-titrating drips include amiodarone, Bumex, and heparin. Surgical floor. Patient population includes total hip replacement, total abdominal hysterectomy, thyroidectomy, colectomy, sepsis, CHF, AFib RVR, CVA, ETOH withdrawal, and HTN crisis.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
