Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering precise radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
Key Responsibilities: * Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols. * Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans. * Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition or treatment response. * Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and potential side effects. * Mentor and guide junior radiation therapists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. * Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: * Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent). * Extensive experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a senior or lead role. * Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and treatment planning systems. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
