Saint Francis Hospital, a leader in advanced interventional and neurointerventional care, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our high-performing IR team. You will play a vital role in supporting physicians in a broad range of image-guided procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist with a variety of interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures, including:
- Trauma and emergent embolization
- PE and DVT interventions
- Venous reconstructions
- Oncology procedures including Y90 and ablations
- Dialysis interventions
- Biliary interventions
- Pain interventions
- Acute stroke thrombectomy
- Aneurysm treatment
- MMA embolization
- Carotid artery stenting
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Procedural and imaging documentation
Technology & Equipment
- Siemens angiography suites
- Philips ultrasounds
- EPIC EMR
- Visage PACS
- SpaceTrax inventory management system
Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Call required (with premium pay)
- $7,500 sign-on bonus
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day one
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate’s degree)
- ARRT certification
- Connecticut Radiographer License
Preferred:
- Previous experience scrubbing or assisting in IR cases
- ARRT (VI) Vascular-Interventional certification (or willingness to obtain)
