Producition supervisor

Production Supervisor – 1st Shift | York, PA

A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team on 1st shift. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily production, employee performance, safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and new hires.
• Oversee daily production schedules, staffing, line setup, changeovers, and production performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product quality, case counts, paperwork, metal detection, and production specifications.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, Transportation, and management.
• Address employee performance and interpersonal issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Drive efforts to minimize downtime, waste, and production inefficiencies.
• Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, associate degree, technical training, military training, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing or food production supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and remain on your feet for extended periods.
