Job Description:

Job DescriptionUp to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

 Sign-on Eligibility:

• • One (1) year of applicable experience
  • Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible 

Relocation Eligibility:

• • Must live 50 miles outside of campus address
  • Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours

Shift: 3/12 or 4/10 plus call needs

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• • Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure. 
  • Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment.
  • Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
  • Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff; and responds to complaints in a timely manner.
  • Monitors aseptic technique of the entire surgical team and takes immediate corrective action for any breaks in technique.
  • Identifies and reports environmental concerns to management and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Department specific advanced competencies [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ cardiovascular operating room experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR Technician in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) [Required]

$23.94 - $44.53
